The Braunschweig Network for Gender and Diversity Studies was established in 2003 as a cooperative institution of the TU Braunschweig, Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences, and HBK Braunschweig. It strengthens the institution-specific anchoring of gender studies and collaboration across the universities. The focal points include bridging the humanities, engineering, cultural, natural, social, and technical sciences, as well as the topics of “Gender and TechnoScience”, “Gender and School/Education” and “Interdisciplinarity”. The diversity of teaching content and research approaches enriches the exchange beyond the boundaries of the cooperating universities.
More on the history of the cooperative institution will be available here soon.
