AEWB, Agentur für Erwachsenen- und Weiterbildung (Agency of Adult and Continuing Education)
The Agency for Adult and Continuing Education (AEWB) is the first point of contact for funding and training, quality management and counselling, networking, development and innovation in areas of adult and continuing education in Lower Saxony.
The AEWB's services are aimed at all recognised, publicly funded institutions and their employees. The AEWB is an organisationally independent body in accordance with the Lower Saxony Adult Education Act (NEBG). It is supported by the Niedersächsischer Bund für freie Erwachsenenbildung e.V. (NBEB) and operates at the interface between administration, science and practice.

Akademie Waldschlösschen (Waldschlösschen Academy)
The Waldschlösschen Academy promotes acceptance of sexual and gender diversity and supports the visibility and participation in society of such groups through education and networking.
As part of its educational mission, the Akademie Waldschlösschen cooperates with individuals, groups, and networks which actively engage against homo-, trans*- and interphobia, as well as racism and hostility toward immigrants. Initiating and supporting self-help and interlinking civil and social structures are an important aspect of this mission; in-service training – especially for those in social professions (e.g. – those working with people with disabilities, homophobia in sport, and gender diversity education) – are part of the program.

Queere Bildung e.V.
Queere Bildung e.V. is the federal association of clubs, projects and initiatives that offer education and awareness-raising work on the subject of sexual and gender diversity. There is also a focus on anti-discrimination work on sexual and romantic orientations and gender identities.

JUNGES! Staatstheater Braunschweig
As a division of the Staatstheater Braunschweig, the JUNGES! Staatstheater has included productions for young audiences in music theatre, drama, dance theatre and concerts as well as the comprehensive area of education since the 2017/18 season. In addition to communicating topics, content and forms relevant to the repertoire in schools, projects by and with children and young people are realised in this area. Clubs and projects are distinguished from each other by their rehearsal structure and the different ways in which they address their participants.

The Queeres Netzwerk Niedersachsen e.V. (QNN) is the state and professional association of queer associations, groups and initiatives. It takes a stand towards the public and politics, develops concepts and carries out professional work through its own projects and specialist departments.

SCHLAU-Netzwerk Niedersachsen
SCHLAU Niedersachsen is the state association of SCHLAU local organisations such as SCHLAU Braunschweig. SCHLAU offers educational and awareness-raising events on gender identity and sexual orientation. The volunteers come visit schools and other institutions in their region to provide expert advice and information on these topics.

Stadt Braunschweig, Dezernat für Wissenschaft und Kultur (The Department of Culture and Science, Braunschweig)
The Department of Culture and Science comprises the division of Culture and Science with the departments of Administration, Cultural Institute and Municipal Music School as well as the City Library, Municipal Museum and City Archive.
This has created a large, efficient organizational unit that has been given far-reaching competencies in matters of organization, personnel and finance and is therefore able to react and act flexibly to changing conditions in the interests and for the benefit of Braunschweig's culture and its citizens. The municipal institutions currently employ around 110 staff from a wide range of academic disciplines, careers and professions.

Verein für sexuelle Emanzipation e.V.
Since it was founded in 1989, the Verein für sexuelle Emanzipation (VSE) e. V. has developed into an advocacy organisation for gays, lesbians, bisexuals and trans* and intersex people (LGBTI*) in Braunschweig and the region. The organisation is supported by volunteer members and supporting members. Its aims include reducing discrimination through information and public relations work, strengthening the gay, lesbian, bi-trans and intersex scene, making diverse lifestyles visible and promoting health.
