In this lecture-performance, D.A. Bojana (S) Knežević presents her work at the intersection of feminist and queer performance and interdisciplinary artistic research. In dieser Lecture-Performance präsentiert D.A. Bojana (S) Knežević ihre Arbeit an der Schnittstelle von feministischer und queerer Performance sowie interdisziplinärer künstlerischer Forschung. Noisy Narratives: Feminist Performance Workshop
Combining theory, practical examples, and exercises, this workshop explores various forms and methodologies of feminist and queer performance within an interdisciplinary context, at the intersection of sound, time-based media, fine arts, and media practices. Focusing on the tension between noise and silence as social constructs, and highlighting the long history of silencing female, queer, and non-human bodies in patriarchal society, the workshop introduces feminist and queer approaches to creative resistance. These approaches include vocalization, audio-visual expression, media subversion, and the deconstruction of dominant narratives, with a focus on amplifying FLINTA voices.
Noisy Narratives: Feministischer Performance-Workshop
Durch die Verbindung von Theorie, praktischen Beispielen und Übungen untersucht dieser Workshop verschiedene Formen und Methodologien feministischer und queerer Performance in einem interdisziplinären Kontext, an der Schnittstelle von Klang, zeitbasierten Medien, bildender Kunst und Medienpraktiken. Im Fokus steht die Spannung zwischen Lärm und Stille als soziale Konstrukte sowie die lange Geschichte der zum Schweigen gebrachten weiblichen, queeren und nicht-menschlichen Körper in patriarchalen Gesellschaften. Der Workshop führt in feministische und queere Ansätze des kreativen Widerstands ein, darunter Vokalisierung, audio-visuelle Ausdrucksformen, mediale Subversion und die Dekonstruktion dominanter Narrative, mit besonderem Fokus auf die Stärkung von FLINTA*-Stimmen.
