The concept is being developed in dialogue with researchers and research associations at TU Braunschweig. All researchers at TU Braunschweig are invited to get involved in the process now.
The following steps are planned for the concept phase:
Introducing IH2E throughout the University
with the aim of informing and communicating the benefits.
- Presentation of the project to all faculties (usually at a faculty council meeting)
- Establishing contact with stakeholders
- Presentation in the core research areas and research associations, e.g. Future City, Collaborative Research Centre Transregio 277 and research groups
- Presentation in and reporting to relevant committees such as the Strategy Commission, the Gender, Family Working and Diversity Group and Jour fixe, the Dean’s Roundtable, the Commission for Equality (KfG)
Exchange with researchers from TU Braunschweig
The focus of the seven-month concept phase is on the dialogue process on the question of how a structural integration of the gender dimension in research projects can be achieved at TU Braunschweig. The aim is to:
- gather approaches and existing experiences
- identify needs for support structures
- develop event formats
- create space for exchange, networking and dialogue between peers
- develop ideas for structures
- design the structure of the InnovationHub (contents and formats)
Creating the GiB concept
The concept in the funding line “Geschlechteraspekte im Blick (Gender Aspects in Focus, GiB)” (DE) must be submitted to the BMBF by January 2023. It will be successively developed in parallel to the dialogue process and discussed at TU Braunschweig.
IH2E is a project of TU Braunschweig. Funding was raised in cooperation with the Braunschweig Centre for Gender Studies.
